Quick Domain Name Sign-Up for Beginners

If you are new to domain names, use these step-by-step instructions to sign one up.

  1. Do a domain search- You need to check whether someone else already has your domain name. We will check your domain name and tell you if it’s available. We will also tell you if other variations are available, like the ".org" and ".net" variations.  Simply select "Register a Domain", type in the name you want, then go ahead and register it.  If you decide to register a domain, we will set up an account for you!  Later, you can make changes to your domain info... or simply renew it!  Keep the login name and password SAFE!  Once you have an account, you'll be returned to another screen to complete the registration process.
  2. Select the length of your registration- Choose the number of years you want your domain to be registered. You can register your domain for up to 2 years.
  3. Click Next and you're done!

If you plan on hosting your domain on our servers, no other action is necessary, BUT, if you will plan to host your domain elsewhere, you will need to "Manage Your Domain"

  1. First Click on Manage Your Domain, then,
  2. Login using your login name and password
  3. Choose  "Change DNS/Hosting Info"
  4. Tell us how your domain can be found- This DNS change form prompts you for the information to enable others to view your domain. Simply enter the information (your web hosting service should provide this) and click on "next"
  5. While you are in the Domain Manager, check to see if any other info needs updating!  Make sure that the Admin info is correct!  If it isn't, especially the e-mail, your will not receive notifications of expired domains.
